The Finger Lakes Beer Trail has released their 2014 Annual Review, highlighting accomplishments and activities in 2014, including:

  • new breweries
  • the inaugural Winter Passport program and Finger Lakes Beer Festival
  • our new book and new logo, and
  • statistics on map distribution, website traffic and social media activity.

It was another busy year with tremendous growth. Thank you everyone for your support!

The Finger Lakes Beer Trail's 2015 Winter Passport just got more valuable! We are excited to announce that we’ve added TWO BONUS DESTINATIONS to the 2015 Winter Passport program, meaning this year's passport will take you even further than before!

The Bonus Destinations are Rohrbach Brewing Company and Lost Kingdom Brewery.

If you've already already purchased a Passport, watch your mail for a special bonus insert page for each passport you purchased. All new Passport purchases will automatically include the bonus page.

Heavily Brewing Company (HBC) announces the opening of its brewpub and brewhouse in Montour Falls, NY on November 21, 2014. Founded by partners, Jason & Lindsay Dechow and Wayne & Laura Lynch, HBC aims to become the place to find and enjoy the best craft brews the Finger Lakes has to offer. The brewpub currently has fifteen taps which will have a variety of ten beers from other local NYS farm breweries and will soon have five HBC beers and hard cider. The location is in a country-side setting, and is a great place to unwind and meet friends.

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today signed the craft beverage law to cut burdensome requirements placed on producers and ease restrictions regarding the marketing of craft products.  The legislation is part of the Governor’s promise made at the second Wine, Beer, Spirits & Cider Summit to continue to support and provide resources for this growing industry.

The Craft New York Act, which will take effect in 30 days, provides New York manufacturers with greater opportunities to market their products, including:
