Celebrating Craft Brewing in the Finger Lakes.
We’ve compiled a handful of suggested itineraries to help plan your next trip along the Finger Lakes Beer Trail. Use them as they are or mix them up!
This 5 ½ hour itinerary takes you to 7 breweries located around scenic Seneca Lake. It is set up to start and end in Geneva, but you can customize to your needs and enter the loop at any point you wish.
Spend the day driving among the picturesque scenery of Seneca and Keuka Lakes with this 6 ½ hour itinerary which takes you to 7 breweries along the way. It is designed to start and end in Geneva, but you can enter the loop in Hammondsport, Watkins Glen, or any other point of your choice.
Starting and ending in Rochester, this 6 ¼ hour itinerary takes you to 7 breweries along the northwestern corner of the Finger Lakes Beer Trail.
This 6 ½ hour itinerary takes you to 8 breweries as you travel along New York’s Southern Tier and up along Keuka and Seneca Lakes. It is set up to start and end in the Elmira/Horseheads area, but can also be started in Corning, Bath, Penn Yan, or Watkins Glen.
This full day itinerary takes you to 9 breweries along the rolling hills of rural New York State. Designed to start in Ithaca, this itinerary can be easily modified to start in either Cortland or Binghamton instead.
Looking to spend a craft-beer filled day in the Ithaca area? Then this itinerary is for you! With stops at 7 breweries, you’ll be sure to end the day happy.
This 5 hour itinerary takes you to 6 breweries along the I-81 Corridor spanning from Syracuse to Cortland to Binghamton.
Keep in mind that most breweries with tasting rooms charge a small fee for tastings (usually $3-$5). Most brew pubs offer tasting flights for purchase, but some only serve pints.
Also, please remember to drive responsibly and use a designated driver. Or better yet, leave the driving to somebody else and take a limo, town car, or even a stretch Hummer! A sampling of area transportation companies can be found here.
